Hi, yes received the engine and it was shipped w/o damage. set up motor on my testing bench/table and proceeded to perform a short break-in on the bench. I mounted a 19x8 prop on it and slightly richened a tank of fuel to your recommended oil rich fuel ratio for B/I. Upon starting the engine I quickly discovered that a 19x8 prop was overloading the motor. shut it down. re-proped to 19x7 and it is running. it is barely turning this prop(but it is). I have run another tank of fuel through it on the 19x7 prop and it is turning it but barely. Idles good, accelerates ok, WOT ?? for the brief time I tried it, it was struggling, so i didn't push it. I don't even know how fast the wot was cuz i didn't run it there long enough to test, I just wanted to see if the high end was rich or lean. That said, I did find both low and high needles off a lot from factory (too lean). At this time I am very concerned of the ability of this engine to perform to its expectations. I will run some more fuel through it on my stand ( 1 tank) and will see if this motor comes around. if this engine continues to struggle with a 19x7 when the specs say a 20x8 is standard flying prop, then something is wrong. I have provided a lot of information that i have for now. Please , Please review this response and advise. At this time I do not believe in this engine nor want to use it to power my airframe.
